Day Care providers register with Nestor Criminal Records Agency either via the website or the helpline. An application pack is sent to the Day Care Provider. The Provider then sends the completed Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Disclosure forms to the Nestor central office for checking. When it has been confirmed the Disclosure was correctly completed it is sent to the CRB. If the Disclosure is clear the Day care Provider is notified by email. If the Disclosure shows convictions or cautions it is sent by registered post to the Day Care Provider for a decision on how to proceed with the applicant.
