CRB Disclosures for Day Care Providers

It is important that employers are able to identify unsuitable candidates and for many companies there is a legal requirement for applicants to have a CRB check before they are deemed suitable to be recruited.

Nestor Criminal Records Agency (CRA) is able to manage the process for CRB checks, ensuring that applications forms are correctly completed and Disclosure information is quickly and confidentially passed to the employer.

We record CRB Disclosure applications, track their progress and identify any queries in applications before they are sent to the Criminal Records Bureau.

We offer an efficient and thorough service and forward all correctly completed application forms to the CRB within 24 hours of receipt from the applicant.

Final Disclosure information will be passed to the client within 24 hours of receipt and there is a dedicated help line for all queries.

Enhanced CRB Disclosure process for Day Care providers

All Applicants working with Day Care providers will need to undertake an enhanced CRB Disclosure. Click here to view a simple flow chart which outlines every step of the disclosure process.

Please note that if the member of staff is checked for the first time, the DCSF will subsidise the full cost of it.

However, if any CRB check applications are for members of staff who have already been CRB checked, including any previously processed by Ofsted or ourselves, i.e. for existing members of staff, we can process these at a cost of £52.00 per enhanced CRB check as DCSF will not subsidise them.
